Jess Goodacre is an Australian painter based in Paris. She holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the Australian National University, First Class Honours from Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney, and a Masters degree, including an exchange at the Academy of Fine Art Vienna, where she studied Contextual Painting under Hans Scheirl and the completion of the MFA in Painting from Sydney College of the Arts. She is a recipient of the Golden Key Honours Society Award and the Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Artists Exchange Scholarship.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the National Portrait Gallery Canberra, the Academy of Fine Art Vienna, Sydney College of the Arts, and Wimbledon Art Studios, London. LAP Lambert Academic Publishing has published her writing on painting and the body in Germany.
